Of walnut, olivewood, yew, ebony, ebonised pearwood, mother of pearl, bovine bone, and giltwood with gilt bronze mounts. Each with a shaped top centred by an inlaid classical bust raised on a pedestal and flanked by scrolling floral foliage embellished with mother of pearl flowerheads within a scrolling inlaid band, the walnut ground inlaid with flowers and butterflies, the four corners inlaid by birds within scrolling floral foliage, each top enclosed by a band of walnut with a moulded ebonised edge, the top above two conforming panelled drawers, each centred by a grotesque mask inlaid in bone within a cartouche below an escutcheon and flanked by scrolling foliate marquetry, each drawer mounted with two scrolling handles with grotesque faces, the whole above a conforming plinth raised on two bun feet and two block feet.
