Research

Of carved and painted pine. The bow fronted black marbleised top above the conforming frieze carved with overlapping coins and carved with three protruding roundels decorated with carved ribbons and hung with foliate swags, the sides carved with two smaller roundels hung with swags, the canted angles of the frieze carved with panels filled with paterae, the top raised on two inswept scrolling bracket supports carved with coins, headed by scrolls issuing foliate swags, and united by a carved finial in the form of a classical urn.  Paintwork restored and refreshed.
