Research

Of burr-walnut with brass mounts. The cabinet having a double-domed cornice and crossbanded doors with brass escutcheons flanked by scrolled molding, opening to reveal a shelved interior, above three drawers centered by relaced brass circular drop handles with retractable writing surface below.  The unusual outswelling shaped base fitted with four crossbanded drawers, each mounted with original brass cartouche shaped drop handles and conforming keyhole escutcheons.  The whole raised on outcurved bracket feet united by a shaped apron.
