Research
Of rosewood and gilt brass. Each with a shaped and upholstered wing back flanked by upholstered arms, the seat above the frieze centred by an elaborately cast scrolling acanthine mount flanked below by scrolled volute mounts. The central mount flanked to the frieze by four rosette mounts, the angles decorated with scrolling anthemion mounts, the frieze to the sides mounted with conforming rosettes, the whole raised on four boldly cast gilt-bronze legs, each leg headed by acanthus leaves and terminating in a scrolled foot raised on a castor.
