Of padouk and giltwood. The divided original mirror plates arched in the upper section with foliate molding to the border in a rectangular frame surmounted by a shaped cresting centered by a pierced flowerhead flanked by hanging garlands with pierced scrolling stylized elements above, the sides with hanging garlands, the whole terminating in a shaped apron with scrolling stylized decoration. Possibly some of the decorative elements were amended later in the 18th or early 19th century.
