Of giltwood with metal core to arms and candle spikes. The body of partial classical vase form. The underside with stylized low-relief carved lotus leaves from which hangs a carved tassle, the rim set with oval paterae, the whole surmounted by a foliate ovoid knop. The six scrolling foliate arms issue from replaced oval paterae, each arm retaining its original candle holder, drip pan and spike. The chandelier hangs on three original metal chains interrupted by a gilt carved circular element. The whole suspended from an original foliate giltwood corona.
