11484 AN UNUSUAL PAIR OF GILT AND PATINATED BRONZE FOUR-LIGHT NEOCLASSICAL CANDELABRA Possibly Swedish. Circa 1820. Measurements: Height: 17 1/2″ (44.4 cm) Width: 12 1/2″ (31.7 cm) Depth: 12 1/2″ (31.7cm).



Research
Of gilt and patinated bronze. Each with detachable upper section consisting of three geometric bronzed arms set with a finely cast anthemion. Each arm with cup shaped nozzle resting upon a flared circular drip pan. The central vase with reversible lid that exposes a further candle nozzle. Each reeded shaft with cast lotus and anthemion motif and intricate foliate capitals, the whole resting on a wide circular base with overlapping cast anthemion motifs.
