Research

Of walnut. The curved pierced back conceived as a system of interlocking ropes, the seat frame carved as a rope with knot and tassel to the front corners, the legs carved as ropes, the front pair of cabriole form with feet carved as tassels, the pair to the reverse shaped and tapering, the legs joined by an x-stretcher carved as ropework and centered by an elaborate knot.
